This group aims to develop information physics based on viewpoints and methods such as statistical mechanics, quantum mechanics, computational physics and such to examine and analyze the principles of cooperative phenomena that many-body systems in nature and society exhibit. Through these research activities, we also train students to become able to formulate and solve complex problems by acquiring conceptual methods of information physics.
